The Group CMC Video was founded by Denis Auboyer (CEO of the Group) at the beginning of the 1980s. The group is trusted by television channels, broadcasters, producers and video publishers. The group includes 8 compagnies: CMC, LVT, Elude, Digimage, Digimage Cinema, Monal Systems, RGB and Def2shoot.

Monal Systems is the research and development structure of the group. Established in 1997, it specialises in the design and marketing of subtitling equipment and software.

Monal Systems introduces a range of high-end open-captioning and subtitling solutions that have proven to be reliable, industry-wide and cost-effective.
