The VOD encoding solution of CMC
The digital sound laboratory CMC proposes a specific VOD encoding through its production system. The know-how of CMC in the field of the video encoding is approved by our customers, notably France Télécom (My line TV) and Orange TV.
To centralize the VOD encoding and transcoding, we set up an Isilon Systems cluster. This platform helps us handle hundreds of transcoding operations and media files verification.
The Dolby E VOD encoding delivers a spatialized sound. It preserves the content quality during the media files compression and the unwinding. The Dolby E encoding is indeed the best sound option for HD programmes.
